Scope of Work

Construction of deep diaphragm wall cut-off system up to 80 meters depth for seepage control, excavation support, and foundation treatment works of the dam structure.

Details:

Jeddah Foundation participated as the specialized contractor for diaphragm wall works in the Al Laith Dam Project, a major rockfill dam development located south of the Makkah Region.
The project comprised the construction of a 550-meter-long and 65-meter-high dam with a total storage capacity of approximately 84 million cubic meters, developed to enhance water reserve and flood protection capabilities in the region. Our scope included the execution of a deep diaphragm wall cut-off system reaching depths of up to 80 meters for seepage control, excavation support, and foundation treatment, playing a critical role in ensuring the long-term stability, safety, and watertight performance of the dam foundation system.
