Details:
The project involved the rehabilitation of the SWEC Marine Jetty to enable the offloading of a 6,000-ton MED evaporator unit with a deck load capacity of 3.5 t/m² over a 40 × 60 m platform. Our scope covered dredging works, installation of new API steel pipe piles, pre-drilling in coral strata, grouting, and structural strengthening through slab cutting, reinforcement, and 35 MPa concrete works. Additional works included the installation of 42-ton fenders, 70-ton bollards, and all related marine accessories. All activities were executed under approved method statements, risk analysis, and HSE procedures. The rehabilitation successfully upgraded the jetty to safely handle one of the largest MED units in Saudi Arabia
